Microchip’s PIC32 or SAM families of MCUs range from entry-level to high-performance devices. These MCUs are available with a variety of memory sizes and processing speeds along with robust security, ultra-low power, enhanced touch, analog and digital peripherals to incorporate additional functionalities. They also offer multiple connectivity options including CAN, CAN FD, Hi-Speed/Full-Speed USB, Ethernet and integrated wireless peripherals.
Microchip also provides a fully integrated, embedded software development framework for 32-bit microcontrollers and microprocessors (MPUs) called MPLAB® Harmony. MPLAB® Harmony is a modular framework that provides interoperable firmware libraries for application development on 32-bit MCUs and MPUs, giving customers flexible and interoperable software modules to simplify the development of value-added features and reduce a product’s time to market.
